Describing boredom!!!
Boredom is waiting for your big sister to finish in the shower. It's like waiting for your hair to grow! Boredom is when you are sitting in the car on a trip and you have nothing to do.
Boredom is having to wait in a giant line for a ride that costs $45.00 to go on. Boredom is waiting for your teddy to come out of the washing machine.
Boredom is when you accidently leave your heater on all day and your mum takes it away from you. Boredom is spending the day with your grandparents.

My little toy snuggle
It was just two months after I was born and mummy handed me a toy caterpillar. It was perfect. His rainbow colours were really bright from head to tail and at the very end was a mirror, crystal clear. I called him Snuggle.
He was just right well right until I was three and my little baby sister Jennifer came along. We had to share. So when it was her turn she spewed on it. I was really sad. So Daddy washed it and it was all better again, until I realized it was night time and I had left Snuggle in Jennifer's room.
I silently crept out of bed. I was really scared but I had to do it for Snuggle. I ran as fast as my legs could carry me through the hallway into Jennifer's room and grabbed Snuggle. But just that very second ... WAA oh no I forgot that she loves him too so I decided to do the right thing - just take Snuggle and carry Jennifer to my bed too. Everything was just right until... BLAH she spewed!

Kiri’s Favourite Toy
When I was little my favourite toy was a small yellow lion with different coloured paws and in each paw there was an object that made a different sound. One paw made a crackling noise, another one tingled and the other ones had Velcro on them.
I loved that toy. I loved it.

7 Minute Writing Warm Up
They ran past him like a frog catching a fly. Are they fans or an angry mob? Going and coming again. To and there. Plenty of noise they're making, I can assure that.
Food, I said to myself, I'm hungry. And there they are again. Drink, I need a drink. Treats, I also need treats. The mob runs around in circles. Ride, I need to go for a ride to see what that ruckus is.
Home, I am home, I found out what it is: Justin Beiber is in Hastings. Again they ran round and round in circles. Did I hear that silence? Finally….

This is my account of differences between adults and children
Children:
Children are really active and are only drunk on fizzy. They have a teeny weeny vocabulary (compared to adults) and dream about getting a kitten, or a transformer. Or if you're me, (which you aren't) you dream about a walking pie eating walking chips then you eating that pie.
Adults:
They aren't as active as children (well some are but they're usually teachers so they don't count). And adults have a humongous vocabulary –they say words that make awesome people (children) go "huh??" Like "Darwinism." See! Oh! And adults dream about getting a flash car or winning lotto– who cares!
Adults and children are practically a different species to each other.

How to make my brother (Zac) laugh
- Get him and pin him on the ground (may take 2 min max).
- Roll him over so he is on his belly (be careful he doesn't escape).
- This is the hard part, securely push his arms down with your feet and make sure you are staring at his legs.
- Last of all, get your hands and tickle him under the knees for as long as you like!Enjoy!
How to make my dad (Martin) laugh
1. Maybe you could tickle him on the sides somewhere.
2. Also if this doesn't work, maybe show him something funny on YouTube or TV.
3. This is another one, I might ruin your life but give it a try. If you are really desperate get your brother to take an embarrassing pic of you and show it to him.
4. Our last hope is America's funniest home videos.
Try them out and hope it works. Fingers crossed.
How to make my mum (Sarah) laugh
My mum laughs, but there is not really a specific way to do it. So I am not going to give you tips to do this.
How to make me (Ben) laugh
I know how to make myself laugh, but this is classified info that will not be shared any time soon.
So this is my family of laughs!

Adults and Children by Cyprus
There are many differences between adults and children.
Adults are stronger and kids cry more. Adults have to do the work while kids are at school. Parents spend more money on their kids instead of themselves.
Kids are a lot more active, and they are a lot more fun. Adults drink Alcohol. They tell us what to do. Kids go to bed too early. Kids are more mischief.
Adults are hairy. Adults encourage kids to go play outside when they sit down and watch TV.
In a way kids should be appreciative of their parents. Oh one more thing, parents come in different varieties. Giggle! Giggle!

Flipsy
My favourite toy was a stuffed dog called Flipsy that my mum had brought from Australia. I called it Flipsy because it's really flopy and I used to make it do flips when I was little. I still have it now but it's got a few grubby spots and a squeezed arm. Wondering why its got a squeezed arm? Anyone? Well I will tell you anyway.
My Fav Toy
When I was little my mum, dad, sisters, brother and I went to Waimarama Beach and obviously someone noticed my cuteness because I got little Miss Waimarama. For the prize I got a dancing tigger and I would take it everywhere and I mean everywhere.
That tigger must have crusties on it I mean that thing never got washed! I think my tigger stopped dancing because I would never let it go...
9 years later … "oh my god where's my tigger?" I yelled, "mum do you know where my tigger is?"
"No I have no idea," explained mum, "Daaad do you know where my tigger is?"
"No, I have no idea," explained dad.
"Oh fudge! I don't know how I'm going to get to sleep now," I said puzzled. "Don't worry," dad said hopefully.
"Yawn"!
"Ahh, honey," spoke dad. "I just remembered that I hung your tigger outside on the hook out and yea I kinda forgot."
"Aggggggggggrrrrrrrrrrr... So after this whole time it was outside? And you, arh you're in deep trouble mister!" I said angrily to my dad. "Is that right, Summer?" dad said sarcastically.
So after all of that dad gave me back my tigger and I had a great sleep with my friendly friend TIGGER!

My dear Snuggles
When I was 0 years old (just born) I had a medium sized teddy that was fluffy with heart paw prints. And when I was about 3 or 4, I lost this teddy bear. Let me tell you how I lost it.
My family was going to the park. I brought a bag stuffed with my fave things. But not Snuggles, my teddy, I held her in my arms. We were going to stop for a picnic. After our picnic, Snuggles and I went exploring by the stream. Then Snuggles went swimming. After that we went climbing. Snuggles and I were still up a tree when mum called up to me. "Amber!!! Time to go!" So I raced down the tree and as soon as I got down I asked "sweetest mummy in the world. Can I have an ice cream on the way back?"
So now I'm at home slurping at an ice cream. "Amber go get your bear for a wash!" my mum yells out. I run to my bag, ice cream dribbling down my arm. I look in my bag. It's not there!! I HAVE LOST MY LOVELY TOY BEAR!! "Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah" I wail. My mum rushes in.
"What's the matter honey?" mum asks.
"I lost my lovely snuggles!" I cry.
"We'll check the park okay?" mum tells me.
(25 mins later) So I've come back from the park, still without my Snuggles. I soon settle down with another ice cream. I thought this would be the worst day in the history of bad days. (But the 2nd ice cream made me feel a little bit better!)
